CBKA is delighted to provide information to the public on bees and beekeeping. We have a small number of experienced volunteer beekeepers willing to give talks and demonstrations within reasonable distance of Cambridge. Whilst this is a free activity it may be appropriate to make a small donation to CBKA, and possible assistance with the speaker’s travel expenses.
Talks are typically given to schools, colleges, garden clubs, The Women’s Institute etc., and depending on availability and arrangements live honey bees may be possible in an enclosed glass observation hive. However, live bees cannot be guaranteed, and on occasions there may not be speaker availability, so flexibility is desirable please.
Please send us your request, with adequate notice, using the form shown here.
