The number of Asian Hornet sites in the UK is increasing and there is a strong chance we will see them in this area in the near future. The BBKA are urging associations around the country to form Action Teams (AHATs) to respond to any sighting in their area. The CBKA need to become involved in this and need a Coordinator as a point-of-contact for any sightings in our area. We also need members who are willing to respond to Asian Hornet sightings, assist in surveillance of any sightings in the area and maintain records of sightings. If any CBKA members are willing to help in any way in forming an Action Team, please get in touch with us via the website under “About Us, Contact”.
