Bulk Jar Order
John Rayner will be co-ordinating a bulk order of honey jars again this year, prices and details of the jars are on the attached form.
Prices are up about 2% on last year which seems pretty good compared to other increases.
Orders and payment needs to be with me by Sunday the 14th January, if at all possible by e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org
). If you don’t get an e-mail response to your order within a few days, I don’t have your order! Delivery should be before the end of January when the prices are due to go up. Once delivered, jars will have to be collected from my home address (Springwell Old Farm, Little Chesterford, Saffron Walden, Essex CB10 1UE) asap after delivery. If not collected within 2 weeks they will be offered for resale, unless alternative arrangements are made.
I am also planning to stop jarring my own honey for resale to concentrate on bulk sales. We are therefore looking for a volunteer to co-ordinate next year’s bulk jar order; please contact me for more details if you are able to help. I also have a couple of outlets in Cambridge that each take about 1,000lb of honey per year so if anyone is looking to expand significantly or is interested in building up a honey packing business then again, contact me. In addition I have honey for sale in 30-33lb buckets should anyone be short and wanting to maintain their outlets.
